About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will play a critical role in assessing and providing nursing services to clients with acute and chronic clinical needs of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals, families and communities as well as providing Palliative care to clients in their homes and in the community. RN's assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and our multidisciplinary health care team to achieve the goals and health outcomes for all our clients.

 

Additionally the role will be responsible for providing training to our Support Workers in particular on the administration of medication.

 

You will be based in Port Augusta, however, you may be required to travel to provide support across the Flinders region. The position is casual with an anticipated 12 hours per week.

 

What you bring  

  • Current RN certification and registration with APHRA
  • A current valid Driver’s Licence, reliable, insured and registered vehicle
  • Proficiency using MS Office and the ability to learn/adapt to new systems
  • Flexible availability
  • Strong time management, organisational  and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
