Applicants MUST have the following to apply:
- General Practice Nursing experience in Australia
- Current Div 1 registration
- Working knowledge of any practice management software
- Full availability: Monday - Friday (8am - 7pm)
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Registered Nurse (Div 1) with at least one year Australian experience in general practice nursing who will work efficiently, as a part of our team.
This is a part-time position offering approximately 15 hours a week. More hours will be available during periods of other staff members’ leave. The successful candidate must be able to work any morning, afternoon, evening shifts, be prepared to fill in shifts when required and be available at short notice.
This role would suit a nurse with long term goals in general practice and a passion for patient-centred care.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Triage and patient assessment
- Clinical patient care incl. wound care, immunisation, ear syringing, assistance with minor surgical procedures
- Diagnostic services incl. ECG, ABI, 24ABPM
- Infection control and sterilisation
- Managing recall & reminder system
- Clinical data management
- Maintaining medical supplies
- Accreditation compliance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in General Practice Nursing role in a medium to large clinic
- Full Australian working rights
- Available to work on short notice
- Experience using Practice Management software (we use Best Practice)
- A patient-centred approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs.
- Flexibility in availability and ability to extend hours to cover periods of leave & additional patient services
- Current Victoria driver licence
