Ashdown people are recruiting for an experienced Education & Training Research Coordinator to work for a NSW Government organisation based in Gladesville. This position is a full time contract role and is currently approved for 3 months with the potential of being extended. This position is being paid between $50-55 per hour plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage online publishing, including e-journal, blog, web pages and other forms of online presence
  • Manage educational evaluation team activities
  • Participate in creating a program, of events and take responsibility for organisation of events
  • Assist in monitoring national and international education research trends
  • Take ownership of developing research project plans in consultation with the ED
  • Provide regular, value-adding progress reports against project plans to senior management as required, supporting the on-time and on-budget achievement of quality research outcomes.
  • Coordinate the collation of information relating to research including data collection, analysis and report writing
  • Assist with data gathering, analysis and preparation of presentation findings

To Be Successful:
  1. Educational Research background required, specifically to social science would be beneficial. This is a NON Clinical background position.
  2. Relevant tertiary qualification and relevant post-graduate work experience
  3. Demonstrated understanding of scholarly research and communication of findings as evidenced by participation in research projects and activities
  4. Demonstrated experience to communicate and share information online by using digital technologies, including online content management systems and social media.
  5. Excellent organisation and time management skills
  6. The ability to work independently and also part of a team
  7. Experience in monitoring and reviewing policies and procedures within a research or educational setting
  8. Experience in developing, leading and implementing project plans
  9. Excellent communication and presentation skills
