- Temporary Flexible part-time for 3 years with a possibilty of an extension
- Salary in the range of $35,183 to $39,231 per annum plus 12.75% employer superannuation

As the Program Support Officer, you will be involved in supporting the Manager and the Community and Stakeholder Engagement team in delivering effective communication and engagement strategies and plans for the National Red Imported Fire Ant Eradication Program.
Your role will include:
- Data entry and maintenance of various system databases, monitoring media activity and updating web pages.
- Assisting in the reporting requirements for the Community and Stakeholder Engagement team.
- Providing administrative support and assisting with reporting requirements for community and stakeholder campaigns.
- Providing administrative support for industry training, providing regular updates of scheduled sessions.
- Monitoring the central mailbox for the Community and Stakeholder Engagement team and delegating tasks to the relevant officers.
- Maintaining the records of the unit including filing and archiving.
- Assisting in the production of material such as static displays, webpage material and coordinate the distribution of printed brochures and managing mass mail outs.
- Providing support functions to the manager and senior officers of the Community and Stakeholder Engagement team.
* Providing the program’s performance is meeting the goals set down by the 10 year eradication plan, consideration will be given to permanent employment.
