Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a highly reputable Federal Government Agency to engage a Senior Operations Manager - Data & Analytics. This position is located in their busy Melbourne City office with an initial approx. 12 month contract with possible extensions.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee the operations and procedures of our data and analytics area. You will report directly to the Program Manager and be responsible for the efficiency of data and analytics delivery. You will have approximately 30 staff under your direction that deliver a range of data and analytics products and services including data visualisation, data extraction and reporting, data development and modelling.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Senior Operations Manager or relevant role
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
• Working knowledge of applied data analysis
• Working knowledge of performance/operation metrics
• Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
• Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
• BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
