The role:
The Cyber Security Group (CSG) requires four Principal Project Managers to lead the following projects:

  • Enterprise Firewall Service Project- Design and implementation of the Secure Network Strategy with a focus on uplifting network security at site perimeters and within sites through network segregation
  • Cloud Identity Management Project- Design and implementation of a solution to manage the use of Queensland Health identities in the cloud.  
  • Consumer Access Project- Design and implementation of a solution to enable consumers to securely interact with Queensland Health services.
  • Restrict & Secure Privileged ICT Access Project- Design and implementation of a Privileged Access Management solution to ensure secure and appropriate use of privileged access within Queensland Health. 

Utilising your extensive ICT project management experience, you will be responsible for delivering ICT projects ensuring that outcomes align with customer needs and comply with quality standards and Queensland Health guidelines and strategies. You will provide advice and strategic input to project deliverables, managing projects by monitoring and reporting on project related trends and performance against project plans and budgets as well as monitoring resources, expenses and capital costs.

To inform decision-making you will develop written submissions, briefs and presentations for project stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage capability and develop resources by leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team. It is essential that you initiate and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure high quality project outcomes are achieved.

Are you right for this role?
To be successful in one of these roles you will have experience leading the design of large scale, complex IM/ICT projects, preferably in the identity and access management, privileged access management, cloud technologies, network security and general security knowledge domain, with demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.  You will have the ability and confidence to lead a multidisciplinary team to work collaboratively, achieve results and apply best practice project management techniques, tools and methodologies, preferably PRINCE2. Imperative to your success will be excellent interpersonal skills as you will be required to negotiate, consult and motivate stakeholders to achieve desired results and drive a cohesive environment. You will have proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to support effective business change.

About Cyber Security Group - eHealth Queensland:
eHealth Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state. It is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of information systems and technologies so that Queensland Health employees and health providers have access to information that supports the delivery of health care.

The Cyber Security Group (CSG) is a part of the Technology Services Branch within eHealth Queensland.  CSG has a focus on both current and emerging information security risks, providing Queensland Health with the ability to better manage the balance between delivering quality healthcare and protecting the information in our care.

CSG is responsible for coordinating information security business alignment, strategy, risks, incident and event management, awareness and governance across Queensland.
