The Role
Wollongong City Council is currently seeking a Youth Services Coordinator to provide leadership and strategic direction to the youth services team.
Supporting a vibrant, positive and energised team, the successful applicant will combine their great communication and management skills to deliver exceptional programs and services to the young people of Wollongong.
The successful applicant will utilise their exceptional project management, leadership and interpersonal skills along with experience in the youth sector to successfully manage and engage the youth services team and oversee various programs and projects.
This position is also responsible for the management of the Wollongong Youth Centre facility.
Suitable candidates may be placed on an eligibility list for future opportunities in the team, which may include part time or temporary relief list roles.
Under Part 2, Section 6 of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012, this position has been designated as requiring a Working with Children Check. Applicants are required provide a Working with Children Check application/clearance reference number with their application.
