C&K is currently looking for qualified early childhood casual relief Assistants, Group Leaders and Teachers to join our team of relief in the Mount Isa Region, QLD.
 
C&K Branch services located in this region include:  

• C&K Sunset (Mount Isa) Community Kindergarten

As a relief employee with C&K, you will need to be available to work shifts in various locations, often with minimal notice. Casual hours cannot be guaranteed, however the more flexible you are - the more shifts you will potentially be offered.
 
We will be looking for applicants who have previous experience and confidence working with children of all ages, and who are proven team players with strong communication skills. Knowledge of the Building Waterfalls Curriculum is essential.
 
Ideal Assistant and Group Leader applicants will hold:

• Certificate lll or Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA) or actively enrolled and working towards one.
• Current Paid Blue card (or willing to obtain one)
• Up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate/s
• National Police Check issued within the last 3 months (or willing to obtain one)

Ideal Teacher Applicants will hold:

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification). Or;
• Bachelor of Primary Teaching with approved diploma level qualification or enrolled and studying towards. Or;
• Approved Diploma level holder, enrolled in and studying towards an approved ECT qualification and has completed at least 50% of the ECT course
• Current QLD Teacher's Registration Certificate
• Current Paid Blue card (or willing to obtain one) or Blue Card Exemption
• Up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate/s
• National Police Check issued within the last 3 months (or willing to obtain one)
• Individual Supervisor certificate (optional)
