About the role
As a result of a recent restructure and promotion, WorkSafe seeks to appoint a high calibre leader to the role of Executive Director, Health & Safety. In this role you will report to the Chief, Business Operations and be a member of the Executive Leadership Team, and a key adviser to the Board and Chief Executive. The role will shape Health and Safety strategies to help deliver WorkSafe’s 2030 strategic plan and play a critical part in the success of the organisation.
Skills & Experience
You will have proven, senior executive experience, preferably gained in a highly regulated environment, or as a health and safety professional. You will have led sizable teams over your career and be respected as a positive safety leader. Your career will highlight your interaction in politically aware environments and exposure to board and ministerial interactions. You must have led and implemented new health and safety focussed strategies on a large scale and worked in organisations that have undergone positive transformational change.
