Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced permanent full time Design Standard and Regulations Officer to join the Asset Designers, based in the Strategic Asset Performance business unit.
The purpose of this position is to develop and document asset design standards, guidelines and performance standards to ensure assets created, upgraded or renewed provide value to Council customers while minimising costs and risks across the asset lifecycle. This includes effectively educating and communicating with internal and external customers on any changes to documentation which may impact on the design, construction, operation and use of assets.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in an engineering related discipline.
- Comprehensive knowledge of design and performance standards for Local Government asset classes.
- Extensive experience in designing, constructing, operating or maintaining Local Government assets.
