The primary role of the Program Manager- Land & Building Services is to ensure the successful delivery of the assigned CFA capital works and infrastructure facilities programs meeting the expected organizational objectives.

You will be responsible for the leadership and strategic management of the assigned programs and brings significant program and project management expertise in achieving the outcomes and benefits expected from the CFA investment in their delivery. The role includes planning, resourcing monitoring and reporting on the assigned programs and the provision of direction and advice to project managers, senior management and key stakeholders.

You will support the establishment strategy, policy, processes and standards enabling the development of infrastructure programs that effectively support CFA's service delivery objectives. The role also represents CFA and the EM-LBS at government, industry bodies and professional forums providing high level strategic advice within relevant range of specialist expertise.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or significant program/project management skills/experience mandatory.
  • Superior expertise in program management applied to the delivery of significant infrastructure programs in a complex environment with the ability to influence and build organisational and team capability in this field.
  • Ability to prepare and present exceptional, professional, concise and insightful project management reporting and briefing materials for senior management.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to successfully develop relationships, manage and influence stakeholder engaging with both internal and external parties at all level of organisations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills with the ability to manage complex issues and projects to develop innovative solutions and provide authoritative advice on complex organizational problems.
  • High level understanding and experience in risk management with the ability to identify and manage a broad range of risks and business dependencies with strong skills in negotiation, influencing, networking, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Political acumen and a mature understanding of, and commitment to, the complexities and protocols of Government and Industrial Relations processes with the ability to provide influential recommendations to CFA senior management.
