An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full-time Senior Advisor HR Services to join Isaac Regional Council based in Moranbah. Reporting to the Manager People & Performance, this position will work in partnership with organisational directorates and is responsible for advising and supporting management, staff and stakeholders in the area of industrial relations and human resource management across Isaac Regional Council.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or an associated field and/or a minimum 5 year’s Human Resources experience in a complex organisational environment;
- Qualification in investigation will be highly regarded;
- A comprehensive understanding of Industrial Relations matters, including the ability to interpret and apply relevant awards, certified agreements, legislative and regulatory requirements;
- Comprehensive understanding of current trends and contemporary HR practices;
- Experience in coaching and mentoring other staff;
- Experience in working with a unionised workforce;
- Exceptional relationship building skills.
For this position we offer:
- Salary $81,060.49 - $96,005.07 per annum plus allowances
- Nominally 36.25 hours per week
- Rostered RDO’s in accordance with Council policy
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- 12% super (in accordance with policy)
