The Procurement and Contracts Unit is responsible for overseeing and assisting with preparation of quotations, tenders and expression of interest through to the formal execution of the contract.

About the role:
We are currently seeking a permanent full time Procurement and Contracts Administration Officer In this role you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks including taking minutes, liaising with internal staff and external contractors to arrange meetings, and providing general administrative support to the Procurement and Contracts Lead and team members for all aspects of procurement and contract requirements.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications at Certificate Attainment level in areas of office duties, office administration and/or equivalent job-related experience.
  • Fast and accurate typing and excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and databases.
  • Previous experience with Council or corporate administration software systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting procedures including taking minutes.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and able to work in a team environment.
  • Well-developed written and oral interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven commitment to quality customer service.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and diplomacy at all times. Commitment to role modeling our values of: Respect, Integrity, Optimism, Trust and Teamwork.
