Ambulance Victoria (AV) is currently recruiting an Internal Communications Senior Advisor in a full time capacity, based in our Doncaster office.
The Internal Communications Senior Advisor will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and continually improving an integrated, proactive and effective internal communications function within Ambulance Victoria. The role oversees the effective delivery of information and communications through a range of channels across AV. In addition the role will build and enhance internal communication channels to drive cultural change.
About the role
Reporting to the Strategic Communications Director, the position will include the following key activities:
- Develop and implement an internal communications strategy (and supporting framework) that meets AV's objectives and aligns with AV's overall communications strategy
- Develop and manage key messages to ensure consistent, relevant and timely delivery of internal communication pieces
- Strengthen and enhance AV's internal communication framework channels through continual audit and evaluation
- Develop and implement internal communications plans for key campaigns and initiatives in accordance with AV's internal communications strategy
- Manage AV's intranet home page and other internal communications channels to ensure they meet the needs of the audience and messages are clear, concise and consistent with AV's needs and expectations
- Work with the Digital Media Strategist to ensure that Intranet content meets internal communications and organisational objectives, adherence to the Intranet Style Guide and that standards are maintained
About you
To be considered for this position you will have extensive communication experience supported by a tertiary qualification in Communications/Marketing or other related disciplines. You will also have experience in advising senior managers on complex internal communications including crisis communications, extensive experience in writing and public relations, a proven ability managing all aspects of an internal communications strategy including research and analysis, developing strategic direction, devising action plans and evaluating communication outcomes, as well as have an understanding of and experience in regulatory environments and the workings of Government and public sector environments.
The salay range for this role is $100,955 - $115,377
