Consumer and Business Services (CBS) ensure that laws affecting consumers, traders and businesses in South Australia are fairly and effectively administered. About the Opportunity

Successful applicants will be placed into the Client Services Officer Recruitment Pool and contacted as vacancies arise.

The Client Services Officer is responsible for providing prompt frontline services and accurate information to Consumer and Business Services customers, including via telephone, face-to-face, and electronic channels.

 

The Client Services Officer role exists within the Customer Service Centre, the Licensing Branch and the Births, Deaths and Marriages unit of Consumer and Business Services.  Duties and responsibilities include providing high quality information and assistance to clients via telephone, face-to-face, e-mails and other forms of communication. Additionally, officers are required to process various applications, assess to identify whether legislative requirements are met and make appropriate recommendations as well as produce and check follow up documentation for applications and periodic returns as required.

The Client Services Officer must have demonstrated experience providing high level customer service and complaints handling and a proven ability to effectively handle large workloads and competing demands and deadlines.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.

Some out of hours work may be required. May be required to work in any area of Consumer and Business Services as determined by business needs.
