Deputy Secretary, Trade Victoria

The Employment, Investment and Trade Group (EIT) sits within DEDJTR working closely with businesses and communities to enable jobs growth, open up new trade opportunities, improve productivity through innovation and skills, develop economic infrastructure and contribute to the DEDJTR Vision of inclusive growth.
Reporting to the Head, Employment, Investment and Trade, you will drive the implementation of the Government's strategies relating to the network of overseas offices, including the provision of advice to government on international developments, ensuring appropriate support to the Agent General and Commissioners for Victoria. As a member of the EIT's Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the development and implementation of integrated and targeted trade programs to grow Victoria's global economic engagement.
A well-respected executive, you will have an outstanding track record designing and leading the implementation of trade policy and programs. Known for your ability in building high performing teams, you promote accountability and have a track record in creating a positive workplace culture. Your strong leadership, stakeholder management and strategic capability will see you deliver strategic outcomes and key performance targets to grow Victoria's global economic engagement.
