  • Clerk Grade 11/12. Salary from $121,900 per annum plus super.

 

About the role

As Manager Performance and Planning, your work will manage the development and implementation of strategic, business and investment planning frameworks for NSW DPI. This role drives performance reporting best practice and develops supporting processes, frameworks, analytics and business insights.

You’ll be focused on supporting the Executive and other business leaders to embed systems including performance monitoring to ensure DPI meets its identified strategic objectives. Your business analytics skills and experience will come to the fore as you offer strategic support to investment planning and decision making by the DPI Executive Leadership team

 

What you will bring to the role

With a focus on performance reporting and business intelligence for DPI programs, you will employ your strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience to collaborate with a range of people across the business and simplify complex findings and analysis into concise and informative advice.

Your demonstrated people leadership skills will ensure you and your team thrives in an environment that encourages both independent, self-driven work as well as periods of high collaboration and teamwork. You will be able to maintain quality standards while ensuring your work and the work of your direct reports is completed accurately and to agreed timeframes. 

 

About us

The NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI) supports the development of profitable primary industries that create a more prosperous NSW and contributes to a better environment through the sustainable use of natural resources.

The Strategy, Policy and Engagement Branch works across the breadth of DPI. It is responsible for communication, staff and stakeholder engagement and leads the research, review, development and coordination of strategic policy, planning, legislation and Government relations and industry analysis. The Branch works across DPI's business cycle; developing strategic business plans; focussing on risk, program management and business performance.
