Council’s Holiday Parks are industry-recognised for high standards of customer service, excellent facilities and a fantastic natural environment. Bring your high level of commitment and enthusiasm to a dynamic team at Council’s newly established Thou Walla Holiday Park.

Council is seeking a Customer Service Officer - Grounds responsible for all aspects of the Holiday Park operations including general grounds maintenance and upkeep of lawns, as well as maintenance of buildings and Council assets. Also included in this position is the cleaning of all the holiday park facilities and buildings and the provision of an effective reception service when required.

Depending on the operational needs of the businesses, this position may be required to work 38 hours per week on a 7 day roster and will be regularly required to work at the other Port Stephens Holiday Parks .

What you need

• A passion for general grounds maintenance duties
• First class customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
• The ability to follow instructions, complete tasks effectively within tight timeframes and budget whilst following industry best practice
• Self-motivation and an ability to work in a team environment
• The ability to work a rotating roster with weekends and work at the other Port Stephens Holiday Parks and as required, provide an afterhours call out service to ensure call outs are addressed in a timely, cost effective manner
• Current Class C Drivers Licence

Salary Range: $41,629 - $45,145 pa per 28 hours per week (includes 9.5% superannuation + retention allowance) + penalty rates
