The Venue Support Staff will contribute to implementing a holistic program of change across the Planning and Community Engagement Division in collaboration with the section leadership team and in consultation with the Townsville community. This will involve leading the Venues and Cultural Services Section on a transformative journey focusing on the needs and aspirations of the Townsville community developing a culture of customer-centricity and personal accountability; and reshaping how we deliver services to maximise value.
This position will provide support and assistance with the set up and organisation during events, performances, sporting events, concerts and other activities of the section and be responsible for provision of customer service and event staging support services. These roles work from a variety of venues and locations with the casual staff assisting in overseeing and supervising the staging of successful events and functions.
Our ideal candidates will have:
- Current Queensland “C” class driver’s licence (manual)
- Demonstrated experience in working as part of a team
- Knowledge of customer service
