Our Client, a Council based in Southern NSW is seeking a qualified Biosecurity Manager to implement and manage Council's weeds inspection and spray program.The role involves managing the day to day work of biosecurity inspectors and biosecurity sprayers to undertake inspections and control of high priority weeds, high risk pathways and private weed control on a private works basis.
The role will also be responsible for attending regional weeds meetings, reporting on the targets in the Weeds Action Plans and managing grant funding.
The role is a temporary assignment for up to 6 months to fill a current leave vacancy.
