About the role
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a highly motivated and flexible person to join its Court Support Services (CSS) team. In this reliever position, you will be based at the Sunshine Magistrates' Court and have the opportunity to work in a number of metropolitan and regional court locations in the South West Region (including Ballarat, Geelong and Warrnambool).
Case managers are integral members of the CSS team, delivering high quality case management to clients with complex needs who are involved with the court system. Working within the court environment, you will provide our clients with support to address the issues that are contributing to their offending behaviour. As you will be providing program cover for case managers on leave, you will have the opportunity to positively contribute to and learn from a number of different court-based teams.
We encourage you to apply if you possess the following:
- Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology or a related field
- Case management experience in engaging and working with clients with complex needs
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with external stakeholders
- Ability to quickly adapt to new work environments and teams
- Strong team player with effective communication skills and a flexible approach
