What you'll be doing
The Primary care Project Officer is responsible for working with key stakeholders to support the implementation of the NSW Primary Care Strategy for the bowel, breast and cervical screening programs for the Institute.  You will be required to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships, facilitate collaboration between primary health networks through a range of activities including online electronic forums, co-ordination of events and meetings.

You will be responsible for liaising with divisional teams with regard to work undertaken that involves or impacts on the primary care sector to ensure an organisational view is accounted for in programs of work, whilst working with the Primary Care Portfolio Manager to manage short term internal projects including grants projects.

Your work will contribute to the achievement of strategic and organisational objectives of the Primary care portfolio within the Screening and Prevention Division.

Essential to the role will be your strong stakeholder and engagement skills, and your ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders and their primary care needs to support the development of a strategy that is fit for purpose.  As will be or ability to co-ordinate, organise and collaborate with multiple parties.

You will have demonstrated project management experience, and the ability to develop, implement and manage project plans and strategies, whilst ensuring project milestones, reporting, budget and all other requirements are met.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in Cancer Care within the Primary Care Networks to support the NSW Cancer Plan.

This role will require the successful candidate to travel to NSW Primary Health Networks for consultation and training.
