Our Government client is seeking applications for a Group Programs Officer to support the Manager, group programs to ensure that there are specialised group programs to meet client demand.

To be successful for these positions your main will need to have strong administration and people skills and ability to conduct thorough research and making assessments on allegations.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Focus on clients experiencing neurocognitive health issues and family focused programs
  • Research, consulting and liaising with stakeholders and community mental health and rehabilitation experts and services to inform and facilitate the developed and delivery of programs
  • Contributing to the co-design of a group programs in collaboration with scientific expertise, stakeholders with lived experience, internal service delivery and approaches
  • Developing relevant change management and communication plans aligned with National Operations communications team
  • Assisting in the development and writing of policy and procedures for the development and provision of program aligned with Clinical Services policy team
  • Provision of Administration support to the Group Program Manager, including secretariat duties for external stake holder’s meetings
  • This position is also required to contribute project support to other mental health services projects as required by the Group Program Manager

To be successful for this role, you must have:

  • Experience in mental health and injury rehabilitation service delivery
  • Well developed project management and administration skills
  • Highly organised skills and initiative including the ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting demands
  • Well developed communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and key stake holders at all levels
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including capacity and willingness to work with internal APS and external stakeholders
  • Well developed skills in writing policy in the field of mental health, and other high-level documents
  • Well developed skills in writing policy field of mental health or health, and other high-level documents
  • Outstanding communication skills, ability to provide accurate, timely and audience appropriate responses and ministerial writing, research and preparation.
