• Permanent full time
• Salary in the range of $55,152 to $65,384 per annum excluding superannuation

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Manufacture, modify, service and repair mechanical support systems in both metal and wood, for highly sophisticated technical surveillance equipment and systems.
• Assist TSU staff in the design and development of mechanical support systems.
• Research and analyse information on latest technology, in order to make recommendations for improvements to workshop equipment and practices.
• Comply with workplace health and safety requirements, QPS policies and procedures, technical manuals, legislation and Australian Standards within the TSU environment.
• Guide TSU staff in the use and maintenance of workshop equipment.
• Assist with the ongoing maintenance of workshop equipment and out-sourced services.
• Assist in the control of assets and consumables maintained by the work area.
