Our client is looking for candidates with experience in Commonwealth Government policy areas or in legislative frameworks to join a fast-growing Federal Department at the APS4, APS5, APS6 and EL1 levels.
Successful candidates will be responsible for a range of duties, including casework, the provision of assistance to internal stakeholders on a variety of operational, policy and legal matters, and advising on the implementation arrangements for reforms. Candidates may also be required to support the Department Executive across a range of excisting policy areas, including organised crime and national security.
The successful candidate will have direct experience in Commonwealth Government policy areas, and will have previously worked within legislative frameworks. Although it is not a requirement of the role that appliants have legal qualifications, candidates with legal skills or qualifications would be well suited to the position.
Successful candidates must also be able to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.
