About the role
- Profound hands on experience and knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D software such as Solidworks
- Provide technical support across all stages of the new product design process
- Selection of appropriate material and OEM suppliers for regulatory requirements such as quality, cost and lead time
- Other duties and tasks assigned by the direct manager
- Office works and on site works are required
- Technical evaluation and vendor management
- Provide technical support to our national dealership networks
- Liaise with domestic/international suppliers
- Manage the documents complied with Australian Design Rules (ADR)
- Ensure all products arrive at workshop within the correct time frame
The successful candidate will have
- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering is preferred
- At least 3 years’ experience in semi-trailer industry
- High level of organization and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills and the desire to succeed
- A commitment to customer service and friendly positive outlook
- Frequent overseas travel as request
