Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of CTG, currently has a vacancy for an Onsite Service Engineer to join the NSW team based in North West Sydney area. The successful applicants will use their skills and work independently to troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on a range of electro-medical, mechanical-medical and gas therapy equipment.

Responsibilities include the minimisation of operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing; and working to ensure the contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.

To be successful in these roles you will have:

  • Tertiary, technical or trade qualification in an Electronic or Biomedical Engineering discipline;
  • At least 1 year of previous technical hands-on service experience, preferably in the repair and service of medical equipment;
  • Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement;
  • An organised and pro-active approach to work;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with biomedical and gas therapy equipment will be very highly regarded.
