• Transport team of 40, Melbourne team of 80.
• Salary package up to $140k p/a plus Super

The company
This is a unique company, very well placed in the Australian market and very busy. They have a brilliant team of 40 engineers and drafters in their Melbourne transport group and plan to grow the team. 

The team's reputation precedes them. They are winning work left, right and centre across the board. They have some JVs in place and a lot of projects to deliver as the primary consultant. The work is varied, challenging yes, and fun. 

The position
This role is newly created. You'll be leading Civil Design for the team and will have a team of four staff to nurture from a technical perspective. The opportunity to make this a really enjoyable and exciting position is real - there are no previous boots to fill, yet a certain expectation that you'll be just as technically astute and sociably adept as the others in the group - it's a fun and vibrant place to work. 

What's expected: 

• Civil Engineering qualification - Diploma or Degree
• 6+ years' experience in the civil consultancy sector with previous experience in the design of transport infrastructure work
• A hunger for delivering quality work
• Experience to be able to help others on their learning journey
• Skills in 12D, InRoads or MX as well as AutoCAD
• Interstate experience welcome as long as the criteria above match.
