Raytheon Australia is sourcing key talent to assist in sustaining the RAAF’s fleet of F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler Electronic Attack Aircraft.

Reporting to the Raytheon Australia - Air Combat and Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (ACEASP) Project Manager, the Complex Task Manager will provide key technical efficiency support within the Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Operations Support team. These efficiencies primarily associated with resolving problems and issues with support and operation of the mission systems. The Complex Task Manager reports for day to day tasking to the BDA Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Activities involve a range of complex tasks that will require the utilisation of a broad scope of management, experiential and people skills.
As the successful candidate you will:

• Manage complex problem task implementation elements.
• Clearly articulate core issues, identify and deconstruct ill-formed task statements, coordinate matrix resources and deliver coherent task elements and outcomes.
• Achieve tasks outcomes in a matrix organisational environment.
• Engage in a broad range of stakeholders at varying authority levels.
• Provide project management support to other teams in the Program (e.g Control, Change and Production).

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Tertiary degree qualifications in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to meet the requirements of Raytheon certified PM Ready or Leading at Level 3 in Sustainment.
• Demonstrated defence knowledge and 6 years’ experience within the aerospace engineering, maintenance or logistics role discipline.
• Exposure to Six Sigma and / or Lean concepts and methodologies.
• Proven experience in complex program management
