Cardno's Canberra office is currently looking for a dedicated Civil Drafter to join their Design and Drafting team to work on a variety of different projects across infrastructure civil design.

Role
We are currently looking for a Civil Drafter on a permanent basis to join our Design and Drafting team based in Canberra. With a wide range of civil infrastructure projects in the pipeline you will work with a team of professionals to deliver accurate and efficient design/drafting services. You will have an excellent attitude to delivering high quality work while being able to work well within a team environment.
  
Key Responsibilities include:

• Civil CAD Drafting for local projects including large scale urban development and infrastructure  
• Operate CAD and other drafting/design computer programs efficiently
• Work effectively in a team environment under the guidance of Projects Managers and Designers
• Provision of ad hoc support to project teams
• Comply with the company’s Quality Management System and drawing standards  

Your experience:

• Demonstrated experience using CAD packages
• Effective verbal communication skills
• A commitment to self-improvement and continuing development
• Flexibility and being able to adapt to various loads of work and show an interest in developing skills and efficiency within the work environment
