A medium sized Australian owned Engineering consultancy have an opening for a Senior Civil Designer to join their well-established Civil Team delivering major Stormwater/Civil Engineering projects from concept to completion. 

With over thirty years in the Sydney market, they have solid relationships with their clients and an excellent reputation. Continued development of their Civil Business has resulted in the opportunity for a Senior Civil Designer to join the business and play a key role in its continued growth.

Your new role

As a Senior Civil Designer, you will be a valued member of the Design & Drafting team, and will work closely alongside the Civil Engineers to design and coordinate civil urban development projects.

Essential Criteria:

• Highly proficient with 12D or Civil 3D software
• 6+ years experience in similar consultancy is an advantage
• Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision on a diverse range of design projects
• Preparing design base and solutions for civil engineering works such as urban and land development projects, roads, drainage etc.
• In depth knowledge of Austroads, Australian Standards and RMS specifications
• Assist the civil team to ensure all projects are delivered on time
• Liaise with Engineers, Designers, Drafters and other stakeholders
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to produce engineering plans
• Tertiary qualifications – completed or currently undertaking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
