Our Resources team provides a range of engineering and project management services to mining and resources clients around Australia. 
 
Due to growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineers based within our Resources division.  

Your role:
  
The primary responsibilities of the SPE extend to time management with direct control of the design, procurement, delivery planning and programming functions. Responsible for the direction, performance and mentoring of the project and site engineers on the project

To be successful in this role you’ll:

• Have a minimum of 10-15 years industry experience
• Contribute to the achievement of safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences
• Establish and drive the programming strategy for the project
• Maintain the planning and programming process across the program
• Understand the Control budgets and monitor and advise Section Manager on progress and productivity against those budgets
• Ensure the works are constructed to the required quality standards and records are maintained and stored to verify this
• Assist the Section Manager to conduct detailed construction planning, programming and completion schedules
• Monitor performance on the Contractors against the plans
• Maintain good working relations on site.
• Monitor and identify emerging issues
• Assist in maintaining team culture in line with project culture
