The Position

• Act as a client focal point for inquiries and technical queries,
• Project management of maintenance, engineering and inspections campaigns including, but not limited to
• Complete scheduling and mobilisation of specialists, technicians and equipment
• Review and compile records, reports and maintenance information in line with client requirements
• Engage and assist experienced specialists and engineers to deliver administration and technical support within the company
• Administration of assigned projects including arranging equipment dispatch and transportation
• Develop cost, time and resource schedules and assist in the preparation of proposals and tenders
• Prepare detailed work procedures and reports in relation to projects executed
• Complete purchasing and procurement of parts & materials in support of projects
• Periodic site / offshore visits, when required, and prepare detailed reports
• Contribute to proposals and tenders whilst assisting with business development tasks
• Liaison with clients and subcontractors
• The role requires mentoring & inducting assigned graduates and technicians

Essential experience, skills and qualifications:

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with relevant industry experience
• Extensive Crane and lifting experience
• A mechanical or electrical  engineering background
• Effective oral and written communication skills  
• Commercial and management skills
• Technical writing experience

 Desirable experience, skills or qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulic circuit configuration gained from experience in a range of different industries / applications hydraulic industry experience
• Previous experience working within the Offshore Industry and in the preparation of work-packs
• Experience in preparing RCA, PMR & inspection reports
• LEEA qualifications
• BOSIET, MSIC or HRWL
