A council in NQ is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with significant DTMR experience
Your new company
My client is looking to engage a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the councils infrastructure division.
Your new role
As an experienced Senior Project Manager with significant DTMR experience you will be leading and developing councils strategic infrastructure vision. Your main focus will be
- Managing and leading a team of professionals, including line management responsibility, financial responsibility and procuring and contracts work.
- Taking on a key role in civil infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership and overview as required
- Keeping up to date with technical and legislative developments and seek opportunities to develop professional profile and implement long term business strategy plan.
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant engineering degree with RPEQ certification or equivalent professional accreditation
- A strong background in DTMR project experience will be highly regarded
- Significant consulting experience on projects of significant scale and/or complexity;
- Demonstrated technical, commercial and delivery acumen;
- Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills; and
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally
