To support our growth in Australia, we are recruiting Planning and Interface Management Consultants for an immediate start in Melbourne.

About The role

Acting as the project performance representative  in respect of time and cost, you will

• Be part of the consulting team and support the existing project controls and planning team located in Melbourne
• Protect our client’s position in internal and external planning meetings
• Produce progress reports to the Board and communicate with the team to keep the delivery on track
• Develop and lead the PMO processes for the aggregation of data as necessary to analyse progress, extract trends, integrate project changes and support claims

About You

• Complete understanding of design, procurement, construction and testing, ideally acquired  in Construction for a large Road or Rail programme.
• Previous work with a project or program management consultancy
• Commercial acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you communicate with ease with all levels of the programme and can design convincing presentation for board or client decision meetings
• Excellent technical grounding in all aspects of cost controls and scheduling (P6), acquired in at least 10 years in Project Management and Project Controls roles
• Dynamic and pro-active, you oversee and challenge interface coordination and scheduling, driving the project, delay mitigation and claims preparation.
