    The Role:

    We're looking for a client-facing engineer / senior engineer to deliver projects from scoping; through CAPEX, planning, procurement, installation, commissioning; to handover.  You should be a collaborative team player, focused on client's requirements.

    Work across multiple sites as experience and work availability allow.  Work will be split between clients sites and the office, and can be flexible within project constraints.

    A senior engineer will be given opportunities to lead; directing staff, managing client's expectations, and influencing business development.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage client projects from concept through to commissioning, with client satisfaction as a priority
    • Complete design calculations and specifications for your own projects, and assist junior or other discipline engineers
    • Apply sound engineering principles and knowledge in a commercial environment
    • Ensure clear communication and documentation with clear, logical, written expression
    • Develop strong, collaborative and productive relationships
    • Have a good working knowledge of Australian Standards and codes of practice, and apply relevant ones in detail
    • Use a structured approach to project management processes to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
    • Provide clear direction to contractors during site works

     

    The person we're looking for:

    • Great communication skills
    • Food and beverage experience (3+ years)
    • Project engineering experience (3+ years, projects $100k+)
    • Currently/recently in Adelaide with good local knowledge (minimum 3 years)
    • Broad exposure to mechanical and electrical systems
    • Qualified Engineer (Mechanical preferred, Chemical, Electrical or similar considered)
    • Self starter with good existing South Australian networks throughout the food & beverage industry, fabricators and equipment suppliers
    • Project management skills and qualifications well regarded
    • AutoCAD & MS Project skills well regarded
