We currently have a position available for an Electrical Design Engineer to be based in the ACT. This role will allow you to work with cutting-edge systems for export to America, Europe and the Middle east. The successful applicant will be a dynamic electrical engineer with 3-5 years’ experience that is looking to that the next step in their career.

The Role:
- Configuration of existing equipment and systems
- Sound electrical calculation experience
- Develop test procedures and plans
- Provide engineering direction on electrical systems
- Develop modifications, deviations, ECP and reports
- Prototype testing and detailed assembly of electrical systems
- Engineering design tasks and modifications
- Good communications experience both written and oral
- Discuss/resolve technical issues with various stakeholders
Experience required:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering
- Excellent knowledge and experience with design
- Experience with optical systems would be advantageous
- Must have a level of Design authority/approval
- Must be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment
- A strong level of problem solving skills
- Excellent Systems Engineering knowledge
- Identifying technical risk and conducting risk assessments
- Working toward CPEng
- Candidates must be an Australian Citizen to apply
