We are a medium sized, well known and respected engineering consultancy, conveniently located approximately 6km east of the Melbourne CBD. We are seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the role of Residential Structural Engineer.

Our work is varied and challenging. Our clients include residential and commercial builders, architects, developers, councils and government organisations.

Your role will be to provide engineering design solutions for residential structures. You will be working in a team of engineers and under the guidance of senior engineers.

To make you an ideal candidate for this position you will need the following:

- Qualifications, skills & experience - 

• Degree qualification in civil/structural engineering
• Demonstrated engineering design experience within Australia (minimum 2 years)
• Demonstrated knowledge in soils and site classification, residential footing design, residential structural timber and steel design, civil and stormwater design
• Competent CAD drafting skills
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with a variety of people including builders, architects and trades people
