About the Role:

The Senior QMI (Quality Measurement Instruments) / Metering Engineer will be the face of Metering expertise within Woodside, and will interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders as the technical expert.

Woodside are looking to engage an experienced QMI / Metering Engineer to join the broader I&C team. The role will have technical responsibility for overseeing custody transfer and quality measurement instruments across operational assets and a number of projects, across the various design and engineering stages.

With a number of new projects in progress, including some involving multiple JV partners sharing common infrastructure, the QMI / Metering role will be a rewarding challenge, and is critical to our long-term growth and success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primarily based from Perth offices, but with occasional travel to site, the QMI / Metering engineer will be responsible for a range of duties. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Overseeing fiscal, environmental, and allocation metering
• Custody transfer
• Quality assurance
• Interfacing with the production allocation team
• Supporting government and regulatory compliance
• Assisting in resolution of mismeasurements

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

• Degree qualification in Engineering
• Demonstrable relevant experience in Analysis and Metering, ideally with Hydrocarbons
• Oil and gas industry experience would be highly desirable
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing junior staff
