Our Opportunity
An amazing opportunity is now available for an Graduate Marketing Engineer/ product support to join the team based at our head office- Chipping Norton;to become vital key members in the Daikin team. Reporting to the National Product Manager; this role is responsible for managing the introduction process of our new products into the Daikin's product . This role will involve liaison with various stakeholders including sales, research and development, corporate bodies and other support teams.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Prepare and submit relevant documents as required and according to Daikin policy.
- Develop and maintain product presentations and ensure they are readily accessible for the Daikin team.
- Ensure our engineering data books and selection software for all products are maintained and up to date.
- Provide technical support to Marketing for the development of product brochures, flyers, websites, technical manuals as well as other technical collateral.
- Be responsible for competitor product analysis and analyse their strategy, pricing trends and report on the outcomes.
The Right Person
To be considered for the role; you must obtain the following:
- Completed Mechanical Engineering qualifications with the desire to work within the Marketing department for the long term in a multinational organisation.
- Exposure to the HVAC industry is not essential however would be highly advantageous
- Have a systematic approach to planning and understands the notion of prioritisation
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- The ability to solve complex problems and deliver clear solutions
- Team player attitude with the desire to grow
- Diligent personality; who is able to display a strong belief in Daikin's values.
