On offer is the position of Graduate Engineer – Sales & Service Coordinator. This role sits at the center of the business and coordinates the day to day activities around the Workshop, Field Service and Sales Departments. We need to find an extraordinary engineering graduate who is keen to develop commercial and administrative skills on this the first leg of a career development within Berendsen.
This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate who wants to build a career in one of the most dynamic fields of engineering. Over time, with mentoring, training and practical work experience, your skills and knowledge will be developed to undertake activities such as:
- Initiating, monitoring and controlling job packages through execution to invoicing
- Developing proposals and quotations
- Building relationships with both suppliers and customers, ensuring customer requirements are met
Requirements
- A Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering degree is essential
- With experience around providing technical customer services
- The ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings
- The ability to communicate technical information effectively to a diverse audience
- Strong planning, analytical and computing skills, particularly in Excel and Word
- Ability to multi-task at a very high level
- Willingness to take ownership and meet deadlines
- Drive and energy
Other attributes and experience
- Previous work experience within an allied engineering discipline is desirable
- Whilst not essential, a basic understanding of oil hydraulics would be well regarded
- A team player with a strong sense of pride in your workmanship
- Possess a current driver’s license
