Overview:
Our client is a successful leading mid-tier consultancy with a varied pipeline of projects ahead of them in the commercial and institutional sector. They require a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a background in the Melbourne Building Services sector with a track record of delivery from start to finish including leading project teams, liaising with clients and overseeing construction.
About:
We’re seeking a well presented, motivated Engineer capable of leading projects from end to end for this role. You will have with a passion for personal growth both in terms of knowledge and career progression. Our client requires extensive experience of working with HVAC systems, chillers, air handling units, piping reticulation systems, chill water and medical gas systems while being able to liaise with clients and see the project through to hand over.
Our client requires someone for the long term not just the project, they value initiative, integrity and have a flexible office culture, meaning you won’t be expected to burn the candle at both ends.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Building practitioner
- 10+ years in the local building services sector
- A strong knowledge of the codes and standards
- First class presentation skills
- CAMEL and AutoCAD proficient
- Worked on projects at $25 million and above
Applicants without Building Services experience will not be considered.
We’re seeking a delivery focused Engineer with a minimum of 10 years Building Services experience in Melbourne. You will be an Engineer that can think outside the box, being able to adapt and evolve with the challenges that arise with each project. You will have a stable career history and not have moved every 12 months, having cut your teeth on a mixture of multi-million projects to the level where you can now lead a project team, can cross sell and consult on the multiple disciplines within your practice.
