Our Company
We are a significant food engineering company specialising in the dairy, beverage and process foods sectors providing turnkey process solutions, engineering consulting and manufacturing improvement services to a range of regional and multinational clients across Australia and Asia.
Our team of 30 engineers has extensive domestic and international experience and execute work ranging from concept designs to large scale turnkey projects in excess of $100M. Our growth into Asia is supported through our new facility in Shanghai allowing the business to offer the full range of services available in Australia to clients across Asia. We have a range of current projects with key food manufacturers in each region requiring additional skilled resources.
The Position
With increasing activity across each of our business areas, we are seeking to appoint experienced process engineers to be part of the project team. Depending on the level of experience, candidates may be directly responsible for managing complete projects or be part of larger project teams.
Tasks include detailed design, specification development, tender management, managing subcontractors, commissioning and project management where applicable.
Successful Candidates
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:
- Technical proficiency (with tertiary qualification) in a relevent engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 years direct engineering experience within food or related hygienic manufacturing industry
- Ability to communicate to a broad range of stakeholders (clients, colleagues and suppliers) utilising exceptional interpersonal skills
- Effective management of a diverse range of concurrent activities
- Ability to work independently and travel to site as required
- Good safety awareness and supervision skills
Other desirable skills include:
- Problem solving capability in production environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Visio, Project)
- Previous experience using AutoCAD
