About the Role
12 Month contract with possibility to extend on the success in the position.
This Site Services Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring for the following;
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor maintenance and service programs and practices to ensure they continue to meet the minimum requirements of the relevant Australian Standards where applicable to the needs of the organization.
- Raise any non-conformance, regarding product or process, with immediate manager or supervisor
- Participating in the pre-planning, planning and scheduling forums to ensure alignment and commitment of resources to the work schedule and management of costs
- In consultation with all stakeholders prepare specifications and tender documentation for the renewal of site service agreements such as fire protection, security, grounds maintenance, service maintenance, facilities cleaning, building and infrastructure maintenance, such as mechanical and electrical services etc.
- Ensure compliance with all Procurement and Asset Management policies and procedures.
- Ensuring data integrity by using the various established system and reporting inaccurate data including monitoring and tracking planned versus actual maintenance hours throughout the maintenance process and escalating any areas of concern
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures pertaining to commercial obligation, risk management and protection of all intellectual property
- Implement direct and manage operational activities to deliver company objectives of growth, sustainability performance, zero harm, innovation and optimisation
- Maintaining a knowledge and understanding of the costs of maintenance
- Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement to maximise the value from our existing long term maintenance contracts
Skills & Experience Required
Essential Criteria
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or HeavyEngineering;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in industry, preferably in rail, (defence, automotive or aerospace experience may be considered);
- Excellent problem solving skills;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Proven ability to identify, investigate and address issues practically and effectively;
- Experienced in engineering design, able to meet defined requirements within deadlines;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Capable of multi-tasking and adhering to tight deadlines
You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to positively engage and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels, to deliver the best business outcome.
