About the opportunity:
Nova systems provides engineering support to Specialist Ship acquisition. Due to significant growth in our Defence Maritime Program we require an experienced High-Power Maritime Electrical / Mechanical Engineer to provide oversight and technical engineering advice within the SEA 1180 Offshore Patrol Vessel Project in Canberra.

Ideally this will suit an experienced ex Defence Navy MEO or WEEO, with CASG (previously CDG / DMO) experience, or an industry professional.

Essential Qualifications and experience:

• An Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent;
• Australian Citizen with a current or recently suspended AGSVA clearance - NV1 preferred as minimum;
• High power generation, distribution and loading experience within the maritime environment;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Defence Maritime project setting;
• Previous RAN experience - MEO or WEEO highly regarded;
• Previous CASG or SPO experience would be highly regarded;
