Due to growth, expansion and development my leading heavy manufacturing client is currently looking for a Process Improvement Engineer for their site in Northern Sydney. In those role you will have the ability to effectively bring about change using continuous improvement techniques and working on specific projects in order to increase outcomes both in manufacturing and financially. This is an integral role and would suit someone who has a collaborative approach as it involves working with multiple teams including manufacturing, sales and engineering. Having this challenge, you will be able to act as a facilitator, investigating new ideas and driving forward new processes and change within the business.

In return we are looking for the below skills and experiences;
Having a background in the manufacturing sector, you will possess sound technical competency and extensive knowledge in relation to process improvement. Tertiary qualifications as well as hands on knowledge are required to be successful in this role and you will have demonstrable experience in projects directly relating to improving process efficiency, quality, safety and/or capacity.
Required skills and qualifications;
- Prior experience providing engineering technical support to Manufacturing employees
- Ability to demonstrate cross-department communication and collaboration initiatives between departments
- Facilitate cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Dedication and commitment to safe working practices and initiatives
- Experience & extensive knowledge in using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Confident in challenging the status quo and bringing forward new idea
- Excellent communication, negotiation and collaborative skills
