The infrastructure boom just keeps increasing and now is the time to become part of it. Currently seeking an Interface Manager to work for a leader in the Rail and Transport Industry in Melbourne CBD for 6 months with possibility to extend.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and manage critical Service Delivery interfaces and interdependencies and issues that may impact ability to be operationally ready to realise project benefits.
  • Develop, coordinate and manage the Rail Operations Plan, operational readiness plans and other key reports as required.
  • Understand, analyse and communicate impacts on delivery to ensure operationally readiness to implement and realise project benefits.
  • Consultation and engagement with the wider business and project.
  • Represent the Service Delivery team at project specific meetings, workshops and risk assessments and teams’ requirements are captured in the development, documentation, validation and implementation of business requirements and operational readiness activities.
  • Informing on a regular basis on project progress including timing, extent and impact of operational changes.
  • Coordination and reporting of operational readiness activities at each stage of project commissioning including requirements of handback and handover and internal liaison.
  • Create/plan and deliver presentations and workshops.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 5 years’ demonstrated experience in train planning, train management or service delivery in a senior position
  • At least 10 years’ experience working in the rail industry
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Project management qualifications or demonstrated experience
  • Level 1 Track Awareness accreditation
  • Experience in large Rail Projects
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, complex and changing environment ensuring the readiness program schedule is met.
