The Infrastructure Management Program will provide trusted and reliable services to our customers through the effective planning, delivery and management of infrastructure assets.
About the Opportunity
As part of the Infrastructure Program the Asset Consultant, Parks & Water will;
- Manage the development, operation and currency of the 10-year Asset Management Plans which will inform the Long Term Financial Plan as well as the annual Integrated Business Plan for all infrastructure asset classes that define “Parks & Water”, including Park Lands, and Water Resources and Systems
- Manage the development and operation of a 4-year Asset investment program and planned maintenance programs for the purpose of delivering the infrastructure asset classes defined.
- Provide leadership to technical and professional teams, and specialist asset management advice and guidance on strategy, policies, standards, risk and technical requirements, to a range of customers, stakeholders and service providers.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the planning and delivery of asset management programs for a large organisation and the ability to apply best practice asset management.
- High level of technical competence relating to assets and infrastructure management including knowledge of asset management principles, associated Acts, Regulations and legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to apply best practice project management and governance principles and practices to define outcomes aligned to the Strategic Plan objectives.
