Based at Gepps Cross, Sekisui Rib Loc Australia (SRLA) is part of the global network of Sekisui Chemicals Group.  We pride ourselves in the provision of superior pipe rehabilitation technologies, combined with technical support of our customers throughout Australia and the world.  In line with Operational directive two opportunities have arisen for qualified Civil Engineers (CE).  One to support the Customer Services Manager and hence internal customers and partners, the other to focus on project management & cost optimisation, together they deliver succession planning in line with the strategic objectives of the Sekisui Group.

Both positions will have correlations in the following areas:

• Provide technical information, design and advice as applicable to SRLA pipe rehabilitation products as needed for tenders, presentations and marketing papers
• Represent the company at exhibitions and presentations
• Design and trouble-shooting of rehabilitation products in response to internal and external queries

1 - CE / Project Manager focus will be to:

• Apply company’s project management and product installation procedures
• Train customers and execute site installation projects
• Deliver projects on time and to / below cost
• Optimise project success through the review of and recommendation of design changes to equipment and / or processes

2 - CE / Technical and Marketing Support focus will be to:

• Provide product / sales training to Licensees and Sales personnel
• Carry out market research
• Prepare selling price updates, equipment quotations and spare parts pricelist
• Manage equipment rentals

To be considered for the above you will:

• Have a degree in Civil /Structural Engineering ideally with Geotechnical & Fluid Mechanics experience
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication and liaison skills
• Be driven with high level of initiative with an inclusive view of the world
• Have an analytical mind and keen sense of problem solving
• Be an expert in Excel and fluent in MS Office Suite
• Be available for national and international travel (current passport)
• Have a strong focus on self and personnel WHS & E objectives
• Be comfortable in confined spaces
