Our client is a high profile food organisation who supplies a wide range of short shelf life products to the major retailers throughout Australia. They are currently seeking to recruit a Project Manager who will be responsible for all major upgrades and capital projects across site.
Reporting to the National Engineering Manager you will be responsible for delivering and driving current and future project activity through a highly focused team of senior project engineers, contracting staff and design teams
Key Responsibilities:
Commitment to the highest safety, quality and environmental standards.
Build & maintain relationships with contractors, clients and team members.
Manage scope, design, quality and budget for each project.
Source and procure all assets and materials.
Drive project planning and scheduling team to deliver and meet project deadlines.
Ensure that all studies and projects are carried out to the defined objectives in a cost effective and timely manner.
In order to succeed in this role you will have past experience in similar project-based positions, with exposure to clients in the food and beverage manufacturing industries.
To be considered for this role you will have key qualities:
Preferably Mechanical or Electrical degree qualification.
Demonstrable track record of successfully managing and completing multi projects.
Experience of managing projects of $500k and above.
Experienced in working within FMCG, Food and Beverage environment.
Food Technology or Manufacturing discipline within an fmcg organisation.
Computer literacy, CMMS knowledge/experience.
